Cley Calling: Closer to Home - Love your local

Saturday 17 July, 2021

Love Your Local- Panel Discussion with Brigit Strawbridge, Rachel Lockwood and Steve Westlake

Over the past 18 months we have all been forced by circumstance to stay local. For some this has been a challenge, while others have deepened their understanding of the local environment, reflected on what it means to live sustainably in today's world, or been creatively inspired by what they find around them. Join NWT Ambassador Nick Acheson and his guests Brigit Strawbridge Howard (author on bees and advocate for wildlife-friendly gardening), Rachel Lockwood (nature based artist creating her own oasis for nature on the 3 acre plot surrounding her studio) and Steve Westlake (climate campaigner and doctoral researcher on environmental leadership) as they discuss the benefits - for our health, for society and for the environment - of loving your local.

This event is held via Zoom and is free to attend with a suggested donation of £5

Buy  Brigit's's book Dancing with Bees: A Journey back to Nature from our supporters, WildSounds, who will make a donation to NWT of 10% of each sale.

Cley Calling: Closer to Home is presented with the kind support of Norfolk Cottages, part of the Original Cottages family.
