Centenary Appeal
Will you help give nature a fighting chance?
This year, we celebrate 100 years of protecting and restoring Norfolk's nature.
But, as we mark our centenary year amidst mounting challenges for our natural world, the future of Norfolk's nature is at a tipping point. Our precious wildlife is under more pressure than ever before: climate change, habitat loss, pollution and development are driving nature into retreat. With a shocking one in six UK species now at risk of extinction1, we must act now to help secure the future of nature in Norfolk.

We need your help to raise £100,000 to give nature a fighting chance.
Our wildlife is under threat, but there is hope. Over the last century, we have achieved some remarkable wins for wildlife together. From our first nature reserve at Cley Marshes supporting once-scarce species like avocet, to the successful reintroduction of northern pool frogs - a species extinct in England since the 1990s - we have seen how nature can recover when given care and space.
Together, we can change the story for wildlife. All donations to our Centenary Appeal will help us continue to create a connected tapestry of flourishing habitats across Norfolk, giving wildlife the space it needs to thrive.

Your gift could support transformative projects across the county, such as restoration work on vital peatland and heathland habitat at Roydon Common, where redshank have recently returned after a 40-year absence. It could help us expand the areas of Norfolk we protect for nature, like the mosaic of Broadland habitat we care for where the likes of osprey and spoonbill now successfully raise the next generation. Crucially, your support could allow us to work with communities and landowners across the county to create more places for wildlife and connect more people with nature.
Our wildlife has never needed us more, but with your help we can bring back nature from the brink.
