Discovering and supporting Norfolk’s marine wildlife

We have incredible marine habitats and species off Norfolk’s coast – from saltmarshes and internationally important chalk reefs, to mud which is not only a habitat but significantly contributes to carbon sequestration.

There is a whole underwater world to discover!

Each year, The Wildlife Trust celebrate our marine wildlife during National Marine Week. This year its from 26 July to 10 August 2025 and we’re focusing on the ‘Secrets of our Seabeds’.

Find out more about Norfolk’s marine habitats and the species which live in, on and around our sea at one of our marine events.
