About the event

Join us as we explore the coastline to view the grey seals that gather in their thousands on our beaches for the pupping season. Discover more about their fascinating lives and what we can do to support and protect them.

Please note that this is a children's event and each family group must have at least one adult attending. Adults do not need to book a ticket.

Weather conditions can be challenging at this time of year along the coast. If severe weather is forecast, the event may be cancelled at short notice, no later than the day before. Please check your email for any cancellation notifications.

What to bring

Please be aware that the terrain is exposed, so warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear are essential. We recommend wearing several thin layers beneath a coat, along with gloves and a warm hat.

Events will take place in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. Please ensure that you dress appropriately for the weather with suitable footwear. Please be advised to take caution when walking on a site with open water and ensure that you always remain on the designated paths. Biting insects can be present at certain times of the year and you may choose to apply insect repellent as a precaution. In warmer weather, you may wish to bring a hat, sun cream and water.

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event or activity is cancelled by Norfolk Wildlife Trust. In the event that Norfolk Wildlife Trust has to cancel an event or activity due to low numbers, extreme weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control, we will inform you at the earliest opportunity and will offer a full refund.
