NWT Foxley Wood is Norfolk’s largest remaining ancient woodland, located 25km north west of Norwich. Foxley Wood is one of the best site to visit to see carpets of bluebells in the spring and other ancient woodland indicators.

Woodlands are a favourite habitat for many people and inspiring an inspiring place to learn about Norfolk’s wildlife. Wild art, environmental games and habitat trail are ideal sessions for primary pupils. Secondary and higher education pupils have explored the site during our conservation management session and can develop their tree identification skills.
