Explore the shore this summer!

Each year the Wildlife Trusts nationally celebrate the UK’s amazing sea animals and plants during National Marine Week, which this year runs from Saturday 24 July to Sunday 8 August.

Norfolk Wildlife Trust will be providing lots of opportunities for you and your children to discover Norfolk’s coastal and marine wildlife including events at West Runton, NWT Holme Dunes and NWT Cley Marshes. Why not come along, smell the seaweed, hear the waves break and listen to the calls of gulls overhead while discovering wild treasures along the strandline?

Add your Wave of Support for Marine Conservation Zones

Our precious marine wildlife needs your support. The Government is running a public consultation on whether to create 41 new Marine Conservation Zones – a type of protected area at sea – in the waters around England.  We know that public support plays a vital role in the Government’s final decision, so we need each and every person that loves the sea to act today.
