Get to grips with the diverse group of plants known as the grasses with expert botanist, Chris Roberts. This introductory course is ideal for beginners, who wish to be able to identify grasses to species level with a view to managing grasslands for wildlife.

This online workshop offers the opportunity to find out how to identify and manage non-native species in and around Norfolk ponds, with expert guidance on prevention, control and eradication led by Liam Smith of Norfolk Non-native Species Initiative.

This workshop offers the chance to acquire the practical skills of mowing with a scythe to manage meadow and grassland habitats. This workshop is fully subsidised by the Wilder Connections project

This half day workshop will allow participants to gain skills in assessing the quality of existing ponds using observational survey methods, the results of which can be utilised to create a management plan for effective pond restoration

Learn how to assess the condition of hedges with expert instruction from the People's Trust for Endangered Species. This species level survey will enable you to tailor management to individual hedges to ensure that the hedge survives for the benefit of wildlife into the future.

This skill sharing session is aimed at people with prior experience who are looking to share best practice and tips with others, whilst gaining further experience with expert guidance from Richard Brown of Wildscythe.
