Open the moth trap with our guide and be amazed at the variety and beauty of the moths inside, before heading out to explore different habitats in search of butterflies. Walking may include some uneven ground up to a distance of 2.5 miles.

Join artist Genevieve Rudd on a creative walk and workshop to deeper connect with the local environment and wildlife. Take inspiration from the walk to create a final series of postcard-sized artworks using drawing and collage.  

Come join us at Weeting Heath for a walk with the warden and discover the fascinating and unique Brecks heath and Chalk grassland flora. See many rare and scarce species as well as commoner flowers typical of the Breckland environment. Visits in different months will provide the opportunity to see different specialties at their best.
