Creating and Restoring Ponds

Thursday 22 September, 2022

The overwhelming majority of ponds were lost from the English countryside in the twentieth century, and with them, all of their wildlife. This means remaining ponds, and new ponds, are critical resources for wildlife. This informative workshop looks at how we can create and care for wildlife ponds.

About the project:  Funded by the Green Recovery Challenge Fund, this workshop is part of the Resilient Coast Project which supports communities along the Norfolk Coast AONB to envision and action a plan to care for their environment.

Through this project the Norfolk Coast Partnership will deliver a series of workshops together with Norfolk Wildlife Trust teaching hands-on ecological skills and will offer small grants for nature-based projects which build towards local nature recovery.
