North Norfolk's Deep History Coast

Thursday 20 January, 2022
The importance of Norfolk’s coast cannot be overestimated, as over the past 20 years local discoveries have helped to change our perception of when and why our distant relatives first arrived on our shores. Deep History Coast is a new and exciting initiative, which integrates some of the county’s most significant archaeological and fossil sites in the landscape with museum collections, using information points and an innovative mobile app. Join one of the creators of the project, Dr David Waterhouse, Senior Curator of Natural History at Norfolk Museums Service, to find out more.
