David Horsley - Saltmarsh, Burnham Overy
Saturday 24 October, 2020
Saltmarshes and sand dunes are very important habitats in North Norfolk. We are lucky enough to have some of the best examples in the UK on our doorstep. In this workshop with biologist David Horsley, observe how organisms initially colonise areas of coastal sediments and by succession have the potential to convert them to dry land. There will be ample opportunity to observe plants and native animals, and it is also migration time, so no doubt there will be interesting birds. Own transport will be required to drive from Cley Visitor Centre to Burnham Overy (approximately 15 miles).
