Friday 05 July, 2019
This two day workshop, with Greg Bond, Moth Officer for the Norfolk Branch of Butterfly Conservation, provides an introduction to moths and moth trapping and is aimed at beginners and improvers. The evening session will discuss the diversity of British macro moth species and look at study techniques and trapping. The following morning will be based at NWT Cley and Salthouse Marshes where we will look at the contents of moth traps from various habitats, introduce the micro moths and discuss the conservation of these fascinating insects in East Anglia. This workshop is part of a partnership programme between Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the National Trust.
