Blakeney Point: Terns, Waders & Seals

Thursday 13 June, 2019
Blakeney Point has been owned and managed by the National Trust since 1912. It is a site of international significance for its nesting terns and waders and more recently its grey seal colony, which is the largest in England and 11th largest in the world. In this talk Blakeney Point Ranger Leighton Newman gives an insight into the management of the reserve, explores what makes it so special, examines some of the recent history of the site, and shares some of his favourite photographs of the reserve.
