Purple hairstreak at Sheringham Park by Christina Stevenson
Moths
Friday 13 July, 2018
The first session in this two-part workshop is based at Sheringham Park and is designed to help beginners get to grips with the major moth families. We will be look at live specimens and see how to set up and operate a variety of moth traps. The second session, based at Cley Marshes, is for beginners and improvers, and we will examine the contents of moth traps from various habitats, identify some macro moth species and introduce micro moths. We will also talk about conservation measures in East Anglia. This workshop is part of a partnership programme between Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the National Trust.
