Funnel by Harriet Mead

Flight Lines

Thursday 22 March, 2018

Mike Toms (BTO) and Harriet Mead (Society of Wildlife Artists) are here to talk about the ways in which art and science have come together to highlight the challenges that migrant birds face as they fly between the UK and their wintering areas in Africa. It brings together the latest research findings in migration, delivered through engaging narrative, with the wonderful artwork generated through the BTO’s /Society of Wildlife Artist Flight Lines project. A great way of discovering summer migrants through art and the written word. Expect stunning images and an engaging narrative from the BTO/SWLA Flight Lines project.
