The story of Houghton-on-the-hill, Norfolk

Wednesday 14 March, 2018
In the 1990s some of the oldest and most remarkable wallpaintings in the country were discovered in a tiny, abandoned church in the middle of a Brecks field. This talk by Dr Sue Gattuso will speculate on the whats and whys, follow the history of the parish and describe its re-emergence from an ivy-ridden, roofless, windowless shell to a church of almost secret charm.
