On 3 December 2019,
#GivingTuesday provides the ultimate feel-good antidote to the chaos of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It’s the world’s biggest day of giving, with millions of people globally doing something good for a cause close to their heart.
Throughout
Giving Tuesday we will be also promoting the power of giving and the impact it can have on our work.
Autumn and winter, particularly, are some of the busiest periods for practical conservation. It’s when the bulk of our habitat restoration and maintenance work happens on our 50+ nature reserves, and in the wider countryside. At this time of year we also invest a lot in preparing special habitats for rare or declining species – often by hand. This work is labour intensive, but essential for providing food, shelter, and optimum breeding and rearing conditions to help wildlife recover and thrive year on year.
So as the days continue to grow shorter and temperatures drop further, now is the perfect time to get involved and give nature a little boost. With your support this #GivingTuesday, we can spend more where the need is greatest, to improve the outlook for wildlife here in Norfolk.
