Community conservation groups are invited to apply for small grants to help support nature thanks to our new Centenary Partners Fund.

We've just launched a new annual fund thanks to the generosity of nine prominent businesses making a significant donation to us in our centenary year, becoming our ‘Centenary Partners’.

In addition to directly supporting our work for wildlife this year, we were keen to create a special fund to provide small grants to wildlife and conservation groups.

James Hogg, our Corporate Partnerships Manager, explains: 'We are delighted to invite applications from groups whose work protects and restores Norfolk's wildlife and creates opportunities for wider access to nature for all.

'Throughout our centenary year we've celebrated 100 years of nature conservation. As we look ahead to the future, we want to recognise the many small community groups working under their own steam to support Norfolk's wildlife and help them to do a little bit more.'

Chris Gerrard who is Head of Natural Environment for Centenary Partner, Anglian Water Services, said: ''We would particularly like to support those smaller but dedicated causes who may find funds hard to raise. Whether you need new tools and other equipment, expert advice, support to hire venues or for direct nature restoration, we'd love to hear from you.'

‘Friends of’ groups, conservation volunteers, neighbourhood associations, schools, clubs and societies are invited to apply for grants of £500 - £1,500.

The closing deadline for applications to our Centenary Partners Fund is 22 January 2027.

A panel made up of Norfolk Wildlife Trust experts and representatives from our Centenary Partners will award the grants to successful applicants during March 2027.

Alongside our Centenary Partners, we plan to continue to offer this funding initiative in future years.
