About the event

Drew is the Development and Engagement Coordinator for England at the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO), a freelance guide for Birding EcoTours and a passionate volunteer at RSPB Strumpshaw Fen, where he organises and leads guided walks.
A dedicated ‘patch birder’, Drew has spent over a decade exploring Strumpshaw Fen and discovering its remarkable wildlife. His talk celebrates this special reserve, which will have recently passed its 50th anniversary of opening to the public. Expect fascinating stories, science, history, passion and, of course, some spectacular wildlife and scenery.
