About the event

Wildlife photography often starts with one simple goal: getting a sharp shot of the animal. But what happens when we stop recording wildlife and start thinking like an artist?

In this talk, wildlife photographer and filmmaker Josh Jaggard explores how to turn everyday encounters with Norfolk's wildlife into more creative, expressive photographs. Using different techniques depending on weather and light, Josh compares simple portrait shots with images that carry a bit more artistic flair.

Josh has spent many years photographing and filming Norfolk's wildlife, including the spectacular red knot gatherings at Snettisham for the BBC's Wild Isles, narrated by Sir David Attenborough.

This talk is suitable for adults and young people.

This talk will be taking place in 'The Crypt' at St Andrews Hall as part of the Wild by Design event . Please arrive 15 minutes before the talk begins and speak to someone at the entrance.
