About the event
Join us for a FRUITY day celebrating all things natural and crafty as part of Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Centenary celebrating 100 years of protecting and restoring Norfolkâs nature and inspiring people to take action for nature.
There will be displays of country crafts, goods on sale, archive photos and a chance to try your hand at workshops and activities. These include:
- apple bird feeder making
- apple pressing and tasting
- wassail mask making
- wool spinning and weaving
- basket making
- crafts with wood and leather
- beeswax wrap making
- chainsaw carving
- bring your own apple variety to have it identified.
Join us for a wassail walk to the community orchard to anoint the trees for a good harvest. Walks at 11.30am and 4pm
Tickle your apple taste buds with teas, snacks and delicious home-made cakes.

Events will take place in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. Please ensure that you dress appropriately for the weather with suitable footwear. Please be advised to take caution when walking on a site with open water and ensure that you always remain on the designated paths. Biting insects can be present at certain times of the year and you may choose to apply insect repellent as a precaution. In warmer weather, you may wish to bring a hat, sun cream and water.
