Bee Millar exhibition 2
A CABINET OF CURIOSITIES - A Printmaker's Guide to Wildlife
, NR25 7SA
About the event
Although originally a graduate of printed textiles, printmaker Bee Millar swapped cloth for paper and worked for many years as a graphic designer. She has since lectured in fashion and textiles in West Africa, and art and design in the UK. Residencies include various schools, galleries and museums such as the Natural History Museum in Tring.
This exhibition explores both drawing and printmaking techniques in the process of wildlife illustration. Bee’s bird, butterfly and moth studies will range from simple sketch to intricately detailed monoprints. Bee’s colourful botanical prints will also be on display.
