About the event

A personal, narrative account of the mysterious natural history of this elusive bird of prey—how it lives, where it lives, and why it may be disappearing from our lives. The search leads to unexpected places, both at home and abroad.

Conor's talk explores how his journey evolved into the essay that was awarded BBC Wildlife Nature Writer of the Year, and subsequently into a book that received honours from the Society of Authors and the Royal Literary Fund.
