Wilder Communities - How to create a sparrow friendly street
Event details
About the event
House sparrows are highly adaptable, sociable birds who live on every continent except Antarctica! Once so numerous they were considered a pest, now their population in the UK is in severe decline. Join us in Mile Cross where sparrows still thrive and find out how you can create a sparrow friendly garden and neighbourhood. Become a sparrow champion! It’s not too late – by working together, we can make a difference to this iconic bird.
Meet at The Common Lot Community Skill Sharing Hub. From here we will go to explore some sparrow hot spots on the historic estate.
