Event details
About the event
Come and discover printing with nature in a spontaneous, fun and experimental way. Using natural materials like leaves, fresh and dried foliage, feathers and more, you'll create expressive, one of a kind prints, using a reusable printing plate with a sensitive surface to accentuate texture and details. In this introduction to the basic methods of gel plate printing you will learn how to also enhance your prints using masks and stencils and then transfer your print onto paper. The beauty of gel plate printing is that it’s perfect for all ages and levels of ability. All materials that you need are provided although if you wish you may bring leaves, flat plant material, feathers found from your garden or walks that would help add a personal touch and sense of place element to your prints.
