Each adoption comes with a welcome pack that includes a certificate of adoption, a cute and cuddly hedgehog soft toy, a guide to hedgehogs, wildflower seeds, and a few other goodies to enjoy. To keep you up to date with the work we are doing to help species like hedgehogs, as well as our wider work, we will send you email updates throughout the year.
Adoptions start from £3.50 per month, which can be paid monthly or annually via Direct Debit. You can also choose to give more as part of your adoption, which will help us to achieve even more for nature in Norfolk.

Can I adopt a hedgehog as a gift?
Yes! Adoptions can be purchased for yourself or as the perfect gift for nature-lovers of all ages. We can also provide a gift message with gifted adoptions.
How much does adopting a hedgehog cost?
We ask everyone adopting a hedgehog to make a minimum donation of £3.50 per month, which can be paid monthly or annually by Direct Debit. If you would like to increase your monthly or yearly donation, you can do so by changing the amount during checkout. Every donation helps to continue our work protecting and restoring wildlife in Norfolk - thank you!
How will my adoption impact the environment?
We have developed our welcome packs to make your adoption as eco-friendly as possible. The soft toy included with your welcome pack is made using recyclable plastic bottles that might otherwise end up in landfill and all the packaging can be recycled.
Am I adopting a real hedghog?
No! Your hedgehog adoption helps us to protect wildlife in Norfolk, including hedgehogs, but your adoption does not include a real-life prickly friend. However, you will be the proud owner (or giver) of a cute and cuddly soft toy hedgehog.
