Norfolk Commons Week

Join us for our popular annual celebration of Norfolk’s special commons, wildlife, and history from Saturday 28 June to Friday 4 July, with a range of guided walks and talks.

There are more than 300 registered commons in Norfolk, ranging from tiny fragments to hundreds of hectares of land. Commons have been protected by law since the 1200s, meaning that many of these landscapes have been continuously managed for many years and are often ecologically rich in wildlife.

Join us on one of our events to find out what makes these places so special.
