A host of Norfolk businesses, including nine special Centenary Partners, join us in celebrating our 100th birthday with a wide range of generous support - including the launch of a special community fund.

In addition to receiving a wide variety of ongoing support from almost 100 'Investors in Wildlife' – from donations and in-kind support to cakes and fundraisers – our Centenary Partners are each generously donating an additional £5,000 towards our work during our centenary year.

In a first for us, a proportion of these donations will be made available as small grants to hard-working conservation and community groups across the county who share our aims and objectives, through a £15,000 ‘Centenary Partners Fund’.

Huge thanks go to each of our Centenary Partners:

  • Alan Boswell Group

  • Anglian Water

  • Aviva

  • Jarrolds

  • Norfolk Broads Direct

  • PSH Environmental

  • Titan Wealth

  • WILD Sounds & Books

  • Woodfordes Brewery

James Hogg, our Corporate Partnerships Manager, said: “Norfolk’s business community has always been squarely behind Norfolk Wildlife Trust, helping to protect and restore wildlife in the county that their staff, customers and suppliers call home.

‘We’re delighted that nine Norfolk businesses have chosen to be at the heart of our celebrations as we mark this amazing milestone, by pledging additional funding and support this year. Not only does their generosity directly support our work this year, for the first time, it also creates a new fund that will support our communities to give nature a helping hand too.

‘Our county’s special wildlife needs all of us – and dedicated community wildlife groups around the county carry out vital work on a truly local scale. We are delighted that our Centenary Partners have stepped up to help our communities do more for wildlife on their doorsteps.’

Applications to the Centenary Partners Fund will open in November. Community wildlife groups will be invited to apply for small grants to cover expenses including events, equipment, training and meeting venues. A panel of NWT experts and representatives from our Centenary Partners will award the grants in early 2027 – providing a legacy for our Centenary Partners’ generous support.

We look forward to sharing further information on how community groups can apply for the Fund later in the coming months.
