UPDATE: As of 9am on 21 February, Cley and Holme and Hickling are open. Please take care when visiting and be aware that some paths may be out of action.
The Met Office has issued an Amber weather warning for Norfolk due to the arrival of Storm Eunice, which will bring strong winds to the county.
In order to keep visitors and staff safe, Norfolk Wildlife Trust will be temporarily closing some visitor centres and reserves.
The following visitor centres and their reserves will be closed on Friday 18 February:
• Cley and Salthouse Marshes
• Hickling Broad and Marshes
• Holme Dunes
We expect that all three visitor centres and reserves will re-open on Saturday 19 February after safety checks have been carried out (although Hickling and Holme may not open until later in the day). Please keep an eye on the website for updates.
In addition, the following reserves will be closed on Friday 18 February:
• Alderfen Broad and Marshes (update: open as of 21 February)
• Brett’s Wood (update: open as of 21 February)
• Cockshoot Broad (update: open as of 4 March)
• Filby (at Trinity Broads) (update: open as of 19 February)
• Foxley Wood (update: open as of 22 February)

• Thompson Common (update: open as of 22 February)
• Thorpe Marshes (closed due to flooding)

• Wayland Wood (update: open as of 22 February)
These reserves will remain closed until safety checks have been undertaken. As high winds are also forecast on Sunday 20 and Monday 21 February, this may not be until the middle of the week commencing 21 February.
Please check reserve pages for updates.
