Film: Wildlife in Common: history and wildlife

First part of our short films highlight ingthe importance of commons in Norfolk, this time exploring the history of commons, how they were formed, how they were used and what the future might hold. The films presented by NWT Wildlife Ambassador, Nick Acheson take us on a journey across Norfolk commons, taking in such sites as Beeston Common, Woodgreen, Southrepps Common and Fritton Common. We discover the history of how the sites have been formed and used, and what their future might hold, especially for children.

Wildlife in Common has been made possible by National Lottery players thanks to the Heritage Fund, with additional support from Essex & Suffolk Water Branch Out fund.
