About the event

The Broads Authority's Environment Policy Adviser, Andrea Kelly, explores the unique landscapes of the Broads and of the UK’s lowland peatlands, revealing why these wetlands matter far beyond their beautiful open scenery.

She’ll look at the remarkable wildlife they support, their role in storing carbon and water, and the ways they help us respond to climate change and flooding. The talk will also consider the pressures facing these fragile ecosystems and the practical work needed to protect and restore them for future generations.

Marian Hall will conclude by sharing how the peatlands inspired her artwork in the exhibition.

Lunch is included in the ticket price.
