About the event

Join well-known artist Steve Cale to learn how to sketch birds working up to watercolour painting for a two-day workshop. This course is suitable for beginners and more experienced amateur artists alike.

Items to bring include:

  • Sketching pad/paper, A4 size, 2B pencil, soft pencil rubber (not a putty rubber)
  • Selection of watercolour paints and selection of sizes of watercolour paintbrushes (not hog bristle)
  • Pad of watercolour paper, again A4 or A3 or thereabouts
  • Water pot
  • A few sheets of kitchen paper

No dogs permitted on the reserve. Visitors with dogs can walk Beach Road, along the shingle bank (northern reserve boundary) and East bank.
