About the event

Broadland Country Park is one of Norfolk's hidden gems - a wide open mix of grassland, woodland and wetland, right on the edge of Norwich. It's the kind of place that makes you wonder why you don't get outside more often. We're launching a new monthly walk through the park for anyone who fancies a bit of fresh air, some time to themselves, and the chance to meet new people along the way. No particular fitness level needed, no agenda - just a gentle walk at a relaxed pace with others doing the same thing.

There's something genuinely good for you about being outside in a place like this - the space to breathe, to notice things, to have a proper conversation without the usual rush. Whether you're looking for a regular reason to get outdoors, want to meet people in your area, or just need a bit of time away from the everyday, this is for you. Norfolk Wildlife Trust's team will be on hand to guide the route and share a bit about the nature around you - but this is your walk, not a guided tour. Come for the fresh air, stay for the company.(Walk length approximately 3 miles).

This event is suitable for adults.

Everyone’s welcome at NWT Broadland Country Park
As part of our commitment to making nature accessible for all, and to ensure local communities benefit from NWT Broadland Country Park, we’ve introduced the following ticketing model:

Free Community Tickets
We want everyone to feel welcome at Broadland Country Park.
If you live within around a mile (20 minutes walk) of the site - or if cost would make it difficult for you to join, please choose a free community ticket.
No questions asked - just come and enjoy the event.

We’ve noticed that a few free places sometimes go unused, and as a charity, that can really add up. If you can’t make it, please cancel your ticket at least 24 hours before the event so someone else can take your place. We often run a waiting list and would love to offer your spot to another local resident.

Come and be part of your local wild space - everyone’s welcome.
