About the event

Join Norfolk Wildlife Trust, artists, designers, conservationists and more for Wild by Design on Saturday 21 November, 10am-4pm - a free, drop-in festival celebrating nature, creativity and big ideas!

Throughout the day, there'll be a maker's market, interactive stalls, creative activities, guided walks, expert talks, and exhibitions for all ages. Explore what the next 100 years of nature in Norfolk might look like and how creativity can help us build a wild future, while shopping sustainably made, locally produced gifts and food.

Throughout the day you can:

  • Meet artists, makers and conservationists at 60+ interactive stalls
  • Grab brilliant Christmas gifts at our maker's market
  • Shop sustainably made, locally produced food and gifts
  • Take part in family-friendly creative activities
  • Learn ways you can help wildlife
  • Explore an art exhibition curated by Norwich University of the Arts
  • Watch (or join) a live collaborative artwork created by artist Alice Lee
  • Play wildlife-inspired video games designed by students
  • Take part in ticketed guided walks and talks (details coming soon)

This event forms part of Norfolk Wildlife Trust's centenary celebrations, looking back at a century of conservation while imagining the wild future ahead.

Tickets for bookable walks and talks are non-refundable unless the event or activity is cancelled by Norfolk Wildlife Trust. In the event that Norfolk Wildlife Trust has to cancel an event or activity due to low numbers or other circumstances beyond our control, we will inform you at the earliest opportunity and will offer a full refund.
