Creative nature walks for all the family (10.30am)
Event details
About the event
Join us for a relaxed, family-friendly walk along the riverside, exploring nature while making a journey stick together. A journey stick (also known as a story stick) is a simple keepsake of your walk, made from things you collect along the way - leaves, twigs, flowers, feathers, or anything else natural that catches your eye.
Together we'll get moving, explore the outdoors, and get inspired by the stories nature has to tell.
This gentle walk is a lovely chance for families to connect with each other and the world around them. Activities are designed to be accessible and engaging for a range of ages, encouraging children and adults alike to explore, learn, and enjoy time together - by the river and back through the city.
This walk will be starting at St Andrews Hall as part of the Wild by Design event . Please arrive 15 minutes before the walk begins and speak to someone at the entrance.
