About the event

Rooted in Japanese tradition, forest bathing nurtures nature connection and supports wellbeing. This calming, nature‑based session invites you to step away from the pace of everyday life and immerse yourself in a gentle, sensory experience. You’ll be guided through a series of reflective, sensory‑based invitations designed to help you slow down, notice your surroundings, and connect more deeply with the natural environment.

There will be time for quiet exploration, mindful observation, and moments of stillness. The pace is unhurried, with opportunities to pause, breathe, and simply be in nature.

Sessions are led by Dr Bianca Finger‑Berry, Forest Bathing Practitioner, psychotherapeutic counsellor and EMDR practitioner, and Director at Aspen Wellbeing and Therapy CIC, supported by Kerry Elden, psychotherapeutic counsellor and also Director. As a Community Interest Company, any surplus income is reinvested into offering low‑cost wellbeing services.

Forest bathing is suitable for anyone seeking a gentle, restorative experience in nature, whether you are just looking for an opportunity to unwind or hoping to support and improve your overall wellbeing. Many people find it helpful when feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or mentally tired, as time in woodland environments has been shown to ease pressure, lift mood, and support emotional regulation. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with the natural world - and with yourself.

Full joining details will be sent in a confirmation email.
