Sweet Briar Marshes, Sweet Briar Marshes is in the northwest of Norwich in the Mile Cross and Wensum wards, around two miles from the city centre.

About the event

Join us for a guided walk through Sloughbottom Meadows, our youth-led reserve, as well as connecting green corridors inlcuding Mile Cross and Sweet Briar Marshes.

Before you attend the workshop, you will be sent a document with useful information. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear for walking outdoors.

Accessible toilets are located at Sloughbottom Park. A portaloo will be available at Sweet Briar Marshes

The event is suitable for ages 18-30.

Please be advised to take caution when walking on a site with open water and ensure that you always remain on the designated paths. Biting insects can be present at certain times of the year and you may choose to apply insect repellent as a precaution. In warmer weather, you may wish to bring sun cream, water and a sunhat.
