About the event

Our amphibians perform short-distance migrations to their breeding ponds, often crossing roads. This talk is the story of how a local group set up a couple of patrols to prevent the massive mortalities being seen, and how this developed into what has become an ongoing commitment to saving these wonderful animals. This talk will look to introduce the UK's amphibians, discuss what you can do to help, and tell the story of the West Norfolk Toad Patrol.
