About the event

This Marine Week we want to invite families to help us clean up our shore to benefit coastal wildlife. There is always lots of exciting wildlife, and we often find mysterious marine objects along the shore too. In the event of adverse weather please contact the visitor centre in advance to check for cancellations. All equipment provided.

No dogs permitted on the reserve. Visitors with dogs can walk Beach Road, along the shingle bank (northern reserve boundary) and East bank.

Important Health and Safety Information 

Events will take place in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. Ensure that you dress appropriately for the weather with suitable footwear. Biting insects can be present at certain times of the year and you may choose to apply insect repellent as a precaution. In warmer weather, you may wish to bring a hat, sun cream and water. 

Please also be advised to take caution when walking on a site with open water and ensure that you always remain on the designated paths.
