About the event

Join us as we explore the shoreline in search of shark and ray egg cases – better known as mermaid's purses. Together, we’ll learn how to spot them, identify the species they belong to and uncover which sharks and rays can be found off the Norfolk coast.

Please note that this is a children's event and each family group must have at least one adult attending. Adults do not need to book a ticket.

For any events taking place during the summer holidays, please book a timed car parking ticket per car, once they become available on Eventbrite. NWT members and Blue Badge Holders park for free but still need to book a space; please bring your membership card and e-ticket to show on arrival. Non-members will need to pay for parking; please bring your e-ticket to show on arrival.

If you have any questions about parking, please contact the visitor centre on 01485 525240, which is open daily between 10am and 5pm.
