About the event

Emily Muckley is a pastel artist who grew up in North Norfolk. Her work started by focusing on the wildlife that inhabits this marvellous coastline and has expanded into larger works depicting at the coastline itself. The vastness of the Norfolk vistas bring Emily back here regularly to enjoy the tranquility of this place and the amazing light here.

‘Our Coast’ is a collection of new pastel works by Emily Muckley. The show includes portraits of the sea, full of movement and light, as well as marshland scenes that capture the peace of this place. Previously known for her finely detailed wildlife work, this show is the first when Muckley is sharing landscape work in pastel chalks.
