About the event
Come and find out what it is like to volunteer at our beautiful Holme Dunes visitor centre. This is an opportunity to spend a few hours at the visitor centre, talking to staff and existing volunteers about their experience of spending time surrounded by nature and wildlife.
The day will start between10:30 and 11am, and there will be a tour of the visitor centre and reserve between 11am and 12 noon with our very knowledgeable staff.
Between 12noon and 1pm there will be tea, coffee and scones and an opportunity to meet staff and volunteers and ask any questions you might have.
Please meet at the Visitor Centre where there is a large car park, and parking will be provided free of charge for this event.

Events will take place in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. Ensure that you dress appropriately for the weather with suitable footwear. Biting insects can be present at certain times of the year and you may choose to apply insect repellent as a precaution. In warmer weather, you may wish to bring a hat, sun cream and water.
Please also be advised to take caution when walking on a site with open water and ensure that you always remain on the designated paths.
