About the event

Are you aged between 11-17? This group is for young people who are interested in the natural world, wanting to gain skills in natural history, help the environment, use their creativity, spend time at one of the UK's foremost nature reserves and make new friends! We meet every other month (plus some extra workshops).

Love nature? Into drawing and learning about wildlife? Just want to get outdoors and try something new? This month’s theme: Nature Journaling.

We’re super excited to welcome Mark again, a local artist who spends loads of time sketching birds right from our hides. Mark led an amazing drawing from hides session last year, so we are continuing these creative sessions with seasonal nature journalling.

Join us for the first - the SPRING session as we say goodbye to our winter visitors and welcome in our summer visitors. We will look out for signs of spring and wildlife awakening from their winter slumber.

Nature Speaks. Let’s Listen and bring nature to life;

  • Observe the details.
  • Wonder about the stories.
  • Record your journey.
  • No artistic skill required. Just curiosity!

All the resources will be provided, but you can bring your own too.

We’ll start off at the centre, then head out onto the reserve.

Please meet at Cley Marshes Visitors Centre and check in at reception. Further joining details will be sent during the week before the event.
