About the event
This year we cross Telegraph Lane East from Rosary Cemetery where we looked in 2024 over to Lion Wood, seeking mushrooms and other fungi to be found under or on the trees in Lion Wood. The walk will again be led by local plant/fungi biologist Dr Ian Senior. Please be aware that the ground will be uneven in parts with some steep slopes and may be muddy so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Please be aware we are not foraging for edible fungi for the pot!
