Sessions: tourism

Tourism focuses on how tourism has changed the landscape and economy of Norfolk, and look at effective tourist management strategies and sustainable tourism options. Our nature reserves at Cley Marshes and Ranworth boards provide fantastic case study areas to look at tourism in Norfolk at the coast and broads.

At Cley Marshes we will visit the village and explore what is on offer to tourists here, how tourism has affected the village and how tourism has affected conservation.

At Ranworth Broad we will explore why tourists visit the broads, how this area has been managed to encourage tourism, and discuss both positive and negative effects of the hugely popular Norfolk Broads.
