Rushmeadows

Rushmeadows lies in the valley of the Dereham stream – on the northern outskirts of Dereham.

The site consists of species rich fen habitats with extensive areas of wet alder woodland. This nature reserve supports wetland specialist plants such as bogbean, marsh orchid and tubular dropwort. It is also the home for many birds including snipe, reed bunting, sedge warbler and reed warbler.
