Walk on the wild side

As part of Norfolk Wildlife Trust's centenary celebrations, we're inviting you to pull on your walking boots and join us for Walk on the Wild Side 2026 - a sponsored walk through Broadland Country Park, raising funds to support Norfolk's wildlife and help create a wilder Norfolk for the future.

Whether you're looking for a gentle family walk or a bigger challenge, there's a route for you.

Date: Sunday 4 October 2026
Location: Broadland Country Park
Distance: TBC

Tickets for Walk on the Wild Side 2026 will be available from Friday 3 July. More information will be announced soon.

Why take part?

For 100 years, Norfolk Wildlife Trust has been caring for Norfolk's wildlife and wild places.

From the purchase of Cley Marshes in 1926 to managing more than 60 nature reserves today, we've spent a century helping nature recover and inspiring people to connect with the natural world. But there's still so much more to do.

Nature faces huge challenges, and the support of people like you helps us continue creating a Wilder Norfolk for all.

By taking part in Walk on the Wild Side, you'll be helping to fund conservation work, protect wildlife habitats and inspire future generations to care for nature.

More than just a walk

As you make your way round the route you'll have the chance to enjoy the wildlife and landscapes of Broadland Country Park in autumn.

After crossing the finish line, join us for refreshments, activities and our centenary pledge map, where visitors from across Norfolk are sharing how they're supporting wildlife during our 100th year.
