Do your own fundraising

Put the fun in fundraising! Whether you are organising an event in your community, taking part in a personal challenge, or wearing wellies to work, you can help protect Norfolk’s wildlife.

You can raise money for NWT in lots of ways: from cake sales to canoe rides, raffle draws to fancy dress days, in groups or by yourself. We’re happy to help and give you tips on how to run a successful fundraising event. Contact our fundraising assistant, Tess Warwick by email ([email protected]) or on 01603 625540 to talk about your planned event or for tips, templates and sponsorship materials. Norwich 100 bike ride

The Norwich 100 takes place in May each year and offers 100, 60 or 30 mile cycling routes taking in some beautiful sights around Norfolk. All routes start in Norwich, with the 100 mile route extending out to our beautiful Cley Marshes Visitor Centre and back to the city where all cyclists will be warmly welcomed with food, drink and a medal below Norwich Cathedral.

The 60 mile route touches the coast while the 30 mile crosses the ferry at Horning then both rides return through Coltishall. Sign up for all three distances can be found here.

London Marathon

If you get yourself a place in this iconic event and wish to use it to raise funds for Norfolk Wildlife Trust, then get in touch and we can help promote your efforts and organise a branded running top for you. The best place to start is with an online sponsorship page like Salena Dawson did in 2023. She raised over £800 and share's her experience preparing for the event here (Running for NWT - Norfolk Wildlife Trust).
