River lamprey
The river lamprey is a primitive, jawless fish, with a round, sucker-mouth which it uses to attach to other fish to feed from them. Adults live in the sea and return to freshwater to spawn.

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is a registered charity and the oldest Wildlife Trust in the country. It was established in 1926 and we now manage over 60 nature reserves and other protected sites around the county.
