North Norfolk’s Historical Landscapes

Thursday 12 July, 2018
North Norfolk is home to dramatic coastal, heathland and woodland landscapes. Although diverse and natural in appearance, most have one thing in common – the influence of humans over thousands of years. Historic environment team leader at Norfolk County Council Environmental Services, David Robertson has been studying the historic landscapes of north Norfolk for over twenty years. David will give an illustrated talk on our surviving historic landscapes, from those dating back nearly a million years to those of the Second World War.
